With a degree in Psychology and Sociolinguistics, Karin is a devoted student of interpersonal communication: between individuals, within teams, and across organisations. She is an expert in both verbal and non-verbal communication cues and uses this knowledge to assist clients in enhancing their Strategic Influence: assessing and understanding their own influence style, how this impacts on those around them, and how best to employ this in achieving professional goals. 

Karin coaches individuals and teams towards a collaborative culture to ensure a measurable improvement in individual and team performance. She makes use of a number of frameworks and tools to enhance self-awareness and evoke areas of insight. She is passionate about the people element of organisational growth: building a heightened and conscious awareness of the motivation behind behaviour to best harness this towards realising individual, team and ultimately company vision.

 

Karin has 20 years’ experience in the field of corporate Learning & Development and has worked in and consulted to organisations across industries: Professional Services, Banking, Pharmaceutical, Retail, FMCG,  Manufacturing, Government, Academic Institutions, and Parastatals. Areas of speciality include organisational development, talent development, team coaching, leadership & management development, performance coaching, L&D strategy, and commercial capability development. She has a particular interest in developing organisational coaching capabilities as an integral part of enhancing management competencies.
